I just finished Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. Dude… this book ROCKS! It’s got tons of action, gives the reader a primer on cryptography, gives some great background on the WWII Pacific Theater, has great ideas about the digital economy, and it’s funny, too! Throughout the book, I was constantly amazed at the depth of knowledge Neal Stephenson exhibits. I’d recommend this book to any nerd I know.
